I also figured that the limited edition K-7 was a way to quickly clear 1000 cameras out of inventory to make way for an improved model. It is a little embarrassing when a $500 camera is outperforming your "flagship" model. I'm anticipating something like a K7i that puts the Sony Exmor sensor into the K7 body (with the two dials, which seems to be the #1 reason people buy it). I'm a new K-x owner, myself. It replaces my K200D. I wish the K-x still had the K200D dust/weather sealing, vertical battery grip, and remote shutter jack, and audio in jack. A model that provided those things would be attractive to me.
