I came here expecting quite a bit of backlash due to the episodes story and dialogue being sub-par. However, I think because it had Derpy that people are giving it a bit of a free pass.

My friend and I were sitting here watching the episode and it didn't feel like MLP at all. The rest of the episodes this season have been fantastic. I hope this was a blip like Spike at Your Service.

I really liked this episode.

I was weary of watching it after a long day at work since I didn't think I'd find it as enjoyable. I'm not a huge fan of super hero things (not that I don't like them either) but I thought the parody of them was hilarious. While I'm loving season 4 way more than season 3, I hope they become a little less action-y soon. If it does I think it could match season 2 in quality.

Fortunately, a few of my co-workers are bronies themselves and the rest are perfectly fine with it. I'd hate to work in such a close-minded environment.

I just wanted to note that St. Jude is an amazing hospital. I went there as a child and go back every few years to participate in a long-term study of cancer survivors. Chili's helped fund a somewhat new addition to the hospital (it was new when I visited a few years ago), so they really do help a lot.

Well, she had human hormones at that point. So, I don't see the big deal with it.

Plus, there is the social factor that in Equestria attraction towards other species is not condemned (Spike liking Rarity). Mostly, due to the fact that there are also other intelligent species. In our world it is condemned mostly for that reason.

Don't get me wrong. It's still odd to me too, but I try not to let tradition dictate my views.
