Kala trust you to make EVERYTHING sound so effortless and cool. I read your post and now I know we all have almost similar journeys every year. We learn , we lose , we win but its just about our attitude . Your attitude is that of a rockstar - you look good and are worth a million bucks !

Kala , we never celebrated Christmas at home but as army kids we always had a party with santa dropping by with a bag full of gifts. This year I wanted to recreate that magic for my kid at home but ran out of steam to really see it through. I read your posts and i so regret not planning something similar. I think as mothers our biggest responsibility is to create beautiful memories for our children .. am so inspired .. am sure you all had a fabulous Christmas!

Kala what a fabulous post . those recommendations about voice controls , seat belts and more functional space keeping kids and our shopping for groceries etc in mind are super.

That urban ladder chair is what I want life to be . I was in two minds about a two seater couch or a reading chair for our room. I settled for the former but someday .. soon THAT chair shall happen , so you better visit me soonest ;)

Thank you for taking me on a photo tour of the super gorgeous cities that you went to . The second I got over the envy I was overwhelmed with the beauty.. every rock , corner , turn is so pretty in Rome and Nice and Florence and venice .. am so nostalgic as I type this.

Spain is on my wishlist and am hoping wishes come true this side too.

I know as an indian you find these ideas ridiculous but put yourself in the shoes of the traveler. They like to be aware of whats the 'proper' way of functioning in a new city/ country so that they don't spoil their own experience and rub anyone the wrong way.

I remember , we went to Dubai and we were staying with our friends just after our wedding. My husband's friend played a prank on him when he caught him holding my hand and warned him that publicly holding hands is banned , Dubai being a middle eastern country..
It was hilarious , coz my husband fell for it and stayed 50 ft away when we used to go out for dinner :)
