oops..sent that last comment too soon! was going to say that you've inspired me to bake today....:) and where did you get the pyrex loaf pan? that's the same pattern i'm searching for around here...;) great minds and all that...hehe love you ni!
so pretty!! i wish we'd get some winter here....it's going to be 75 today! warmest winter....oh well...
the girls are the same as your's...always missing each other when the other is away. i love that they are so close! xoxoxoxoxoxxo
jealous of the early bedtimes on a purely selfish level..LOL there would be no way my girls would go to bed that early. in the past, when they were little, they would have woken by midnight and then be full of energy because of their "naps" LOL! xi is usually asleep by 8:30 however and lola used to follow suit but is now turning into a pre-teen and fighting us a bit on that. time to change up the routine for sure. we usually have dinner by 6:30 when daddy comes home, then they bath, brush hair and teeth and we either read or they can go play for a bit before time to tuck in. thanks so much for sharing your routine! gives me lots to consider...:)
seasoning the pans does take time. we've had our's for 8 years now and they are finally perfect. i still use a little olive oil from time to time, but for the most part they don't stick. i use mine for everything, including baking. :) i understand your frustrations with our plastic world as well. we've been slacking this year and i'm feeling the anxiety and need to get back. the weather has been harsh, so our veggie garden took a huge hit....kubra didn't take when we bred her last year, so now we have to do it again which costs money we don't have right now....the chickens hate the heat so have pretty much stopped laying, i might have to buy store eggs! a first for us since moving here! but we keep going forward and i think K shows you that the best part about what you do are the lessons they learn. you are not going to be 100% perfect, but as long as you keep moving forward to the next right thing, all is well...:) xoxoxoxo
love it! lola saw this and immediately got our her yarn and made a headband of her own...LOL tell k she inspired an 8 year old! i love the 4 finger technique. lola has made jump ropes, necklaces, purse straps...it's really nice! tell K she's doing great and thank you for the inspiration! xoxoxoxoxo
he's so cute....and you are right, growing way too fast!! hold him close mama, i still hold xi whenever i can! :) xoxoxo
oh he's getting so big!! such a love!! the shorties are great too! xoxoxo
cant believe i typoed anna maria's name! ignore me...LOL i had 6 kids running around! heheh xoxoxo
okay...now you are inspiring me!! we've worked so hard on the outside of our house that the inside has been somewhat neglected. i love the anna horn curtains!! i need some money now to buy more of that fabric online. i made a dress for myself out of the beige version...i love the blue as curtains though..LOL and i feel the same way about our dining room table. it serves a purpose but is not what i want....someday! thanks for the inspiration my dear. you are very much one of those talented mamas that you talk about. i put you right up there with them!!! xoxoxox
so beautiful!! i'd love to hear the rest of the story too...;) it always amazes me the angels that are there just at the right time when we need them......xoxoxoxooxoxxoxo
