Happy Bloggiversary! I do think your desk is less messy one year on (not that I was there on day one to be shocked by your desk, but I see improvement!).
I've never seen Dexter...usually I'm on the treadmill in the morning so I put on morning tv (the today show). I wonder how I'd do with an early morning rerun of Buffy (I've come across them).

That hot chocolate looks so good! I remember skating as a kid both at ice rinks and roller rinks and bicycling without helmets or any protective gear. And sitting in the front seat of the car without a seat belt, let alone the back!
I also remember my parents sending me to the store to get cigarettes for them....

Glad to hear you're having a nice vacation. I admit...I was checking. I've discovered that it takes a while for me to be notified when a nonwordpress blog is updated....like hours. So...I check.
I'm just bracing myself to join facebook and twitter...so I think pinterest would have to come after (if I ever get over the shock of the first two!)

I am another "inspired by healthy living blogs to start my own blog before quickly realizing I'd rather just talk about my life and my cat and hope people would be amused" blogger. I definitely have wrestled with how much time and effort the blog should take. I totally understand, and I do find that I have a lot more fun reading blogs that the writer has fun writing as opposed to ones who feel irked about having to "perform." So, go forth (and I'm loving Clay Baboons).

Funny. Stockings are totally new to me (Jewish upbringing, so I never had one growing up and even though my family started exchanging gifts on Christmas, no stockings. Now that I live with my boyfriend and his daughter part time, stockings are part of their deal). I like how they're just little, fun presents...at least for us they are. Anyway, I love your stocking stuffers (wow the stocking fits a lot, doesn't it?)

I love the laundry monster.
I just have clutter and clothes I need to sort through...it'll be so easy. If I just get up during commercial breaks...those 3 minutes of tackling stuff will add up, and it'll be like no effort at all..it's like found time...okay, well that commercial was a preview for a movie I want to see, so there wasn't really much time...and then I wanted to see if it came on again so I could figure out who that one actress was even though I could youtube it and...
