My best friends think about things, you know, look at things and consider various issues related to them in a variety of ways. They don't just hold onto something they're told that comes from an old book that is widely used to control though in the world...

I have other friends who go by the Book, but they're certainly not my best of friends ... They may become best of friends eventually, but they're not at that place yet.

I've just read Nemerov's poem, and then searched further to know more, and I am amazed again at the amazing ways of Nature! This is truly a thing worth writing about!

That sure sounds like wonderful work - people should be paid money to study art-related things like this... There's never a rich philanthropist about when you need one!

Wouldn't it be lovely if we could get her over here to take a look at our strange and lovely "Nature"? Now that's something to think about, would it be possible, I wonder?

I've certainly heard of Aha, and Jane Reichhold. I very much enjoy her words and thoughts about haiku.
