Unfortunately, any children born during marriage (and up to a certain number of days after a divorce is final, if I remember correctly) are legally considered "legitimate children". So, though it won't stand up to a DNA test: "Yes, you are the (legal) father!!!!"

**slow clap** I wouldn't have understood this maybe a decade or two ago. Wouldn't have wanted to understand it. Despite all the evidence to the negative, I was still holding out for rainbows and unicorns. Like you, I don't at all condone what Dorner has done (and - if given a chance - will most likely do again), but I think I understand... In a perfect world he would have reacted (very!) differently to the pressures and injustices he suffered. But, then again, in a perfect world, he wouldn't have been subjected to them in the first place.
