My cat of 20 years passed away last night. He held on for the past 2 days and then decided to go when I left the room just long enough to have dinner. This was all so sudden and I miss him so much. It's hard to accept that my little buddy is gone.

Well I've been thinking of leaving Equestria Daily for a while and now it looks like today might be the day. I have been unable to leave any comments for two days now as my comments are automatically flagged as spam. Initially thought I was banned from EQD, but I tried commenting on another site that uses Disqus with the same results. Meaning my account must be screwed. So if anyone from EQD notices I've been missing for a long time and decides to try to figure out why and you stumble across this, now you know.

First time logging into this for a while. Howdy everyone who's still around. A late happy 2022. So far, things are off to an okay start if you exclude me getting hit by a car. Still, less than a week later, I'm starting to feel better. Other than that, it's been the usual taking care of my mother who herself got hit by a truck and broke her leg late last year. She's getting better, slowly but surely. At least on the bright side of it, I've learned to cook more things. Never was one for cooking, but I've gotten better. Anyway, if anyone's still around, I'd love to hear how y'all are doing.

Might as well leave a comment on my IDB since it's been almost a month since I've even talked to anyone. Just haven't been able to bring myself to say anything to anyone on EQD as I haven't really had a lot of positivitely lately with how hard things have been. On the Discord side of things, nobody ever checks on me, so I've pretty much not been checking it. And I haven't been able to see my only friend in 3 months due to what's been going on. So if anyone for some reason thinks about me and finds this, I'm alright enough. Just unhappy. I want things to go back to the way they previously were because even though I felt they kinda sucked, the way it is now is just misery.
