You nailed the experience, Marilyn. I'm still writing my book, but it's fun to see my characters breathing with life in some of the other books already published! I'm going to do my best to make the party, but time is running out for me to get mine finished so that will have to come first. I wish I lived in Lobster Cove.

This is my first year so I'll see how it goes. If nothing else, I'm hoping to get my own blogging motivation back up to a more regular self-blogging routine. I almost always have new content up, just not necessarily from me. :)

Great suggestions, Gemma. I also will clean before I ever open a wip and think about where I left off, go back over what I had going on when I stopped for the night. It's like mentally rereading the previous chapter or scene but it makes my brain work instead of my eyes. :)

I'm gonna try the gum thing, although it never helped when I snuck gum into math class. lol
