Maybe we can contact them or do some research into why they voted against it, first, instead of saying that they should never run for president because they are sucking at the teat of the pharmaceutical companies. That's my issue. How quick we are to judge and throw our representatives under the bus, especially when we come from a place of relative privilege and refuse to reach out and engage with them.

I'm pissed because what Sanders did, at least to me, is the moment it didn't pass, he started talking about Big Pharma, and a bunch of people who like him started going down a Trump like "You do the math" argument, without bothering to contact Booker to find out why or find out that Sanders has also taken a lot of money from Big Pharma or that other people have concerns about the issue and that the amendment was non-binding, and maybe that affected the vote.

Do we know why they voted against it or are we just assuming? I've been reading a lot about this and it seems there's more to it than just Big Pharma. I'm also not sure how happy I am with the idea that Sanders can now just propose something and then get a ton of people pissed off at Congresspeople who don't fall in line.

It's OK! I didn't take it as a slam. Stupid phone and being at work. Basically, I've never seen the show but I've seen clips as they get spread or ads showing the show. Here, this guy doesn't even look douchey. He looks like the guy the douches hang around with because he pays for stuff or gets free tickets to cool stuff or his dad owns a popular club or is well connected at a law firm, and he thinks that having a six pack and alpha friend makes him cool. The women just seem more forced and pinched than I've seen before.
