I have had a post similar to this in my drafts for ages - I really should press publish. I think beauty blogging can actually be empowering - bloggers are being the mouthpieces for companies; people are coming to us, their peers and people they trust, to find out if a product or service is worth the hype. I think that's a great thing! We actually yield a lot of power and influence these days and companies know it.

I'm still shy of my blogging status, even though I believe in what I do. People don't get it. But luckily fellow bloggers are really supportive and make up for the lack of understanding I feel I get from family and friends :)

I really want to love this box, it's great value and there are a few products I like, but I'm kind of on the fence; I was hoping for some unusual makeup products when they announced the collaboration. I probably wouldn't use the hair colour, I rarely self tan and I'm not sure about a hair perfume.
