Ugh, we had a stove thing after the move as well: no fun at all. Glad to hear you're unpacked now and feeling more at home!

Good luck with the not-un-packing. I think that's the best kind of unpacking actually!

Good luck with your new organizational plan. There's something exciting about the new year, even if one makes resolutions all year 'round...it gives you permission to try something new! I hope you've got lots of good reading ahead of you (and listening) in 2022.

Did you mean to say 2022, or 2021? Either way, Happy New Year! :-)

I love the idea of "historic average" in your stat's summary: somehow it sounds SUPER important. Heheh If you use Google stuff, and you track your data in a spreadsheet, it just makes the little graphics while you're sleeping. It's very smart (and likely planning to take over the world, cuz why else would it do these things for free).

I loved Amber Ruffin's book (and I wish people in Canada could subscribe to Peacock). You already know that I love The Graveyard Book too, on audio. Yum. That Audible Original looks like fun, but I remain staunchly outside that circle. ;-) Last year I didn't reread as much as usual, but I will probably return to more favourites this year.

i still can't believe he's that grown already either: and what a genuine and natural full-on-face smile!

Have you read Joanne Ramos' The Farm? I've not finished yet (it's just for fun and I keep shunting it to the side while I read other things with work attached to them) but so far it's super engaging and a terrific page-turner that I haven't heard much buzz about it but wish I had!

If it's been awhile you'd probably have fun discovering all the new pes and collectibles. Hee hee In our family, I'm the one who loves it best, but it was also fun to have when the kids were younger, for planning and chores and family projects. Which would probably be much easier to manage now, cuz they've got way more ways to group and share now than they used to.🤓

Oh, I don't mind, it's actually really interesting. It's cool to feel like I'm kinda reading two books at once when this happens.

So it's more a self-accountability thing? Like a test of your personal commitment? All for the imaginary gold star? I know what you mean, I have a couple of checklists that I slow work at, for projects like this. (Tracked in Habitica, which I have a tonne of fun with!) The progress is super slow...I wonder why I don't give up. LOL

Living with a Data-Head, I've heard all kinds of snippets from the Invisible Women book, so much so that I almost feel like I've read it myself.

Are all the reviews, that you're writing to catch up, for ARCs you received? Would it help you reach a sense of accomplishment if you just focussed on the books you kinda "owe" for?

I do enjoy Gaffigan's stand-up but I didn't click with this book. It was a random audio borrow from the library and could be that I just wasn't in the right frame of mind. Am really grateful for comedians lately, as in for the past several years, though. Ahem. .
