Marty gave up booze about six years ago now and has never regretted it. Whenever we order a beer and a lemon lime and bitters they give me the bitters lol. People look at him as if he's an axe-murderer when they discover his abstinence. Why did you give it up? they question leeringly. There's gotta be some darstadly deed you committed whilst drunk? When he says, No, It just didn't feel good anymore and I wasn't enjoying it and now I feel so good, they tutt tutt and look at him askance. What is he hiding they think.He must have behaved so badly he was forced to go dry. It is very funny. I gave up drinking for six months once because I wanted to stop smoking and I couldn't do that whilst drinking alcohol. I thought all my friends were boring when I was sober, not me lol. Stick to your guns Pinky. You won't regret it and everyone will appreciate the new you.

Haha. I'm allergic to cats but obviously haven't had enough wines at lunch time. My 18 year old moggie is banned to outside also.
