Kelly, can you give me a link to this? I have been taking an iron supplement that is supposed to be gentle on the stomach, but I've had to stop because it is bothering my stomach. If I don't get my iron up then my doctor wants me to do iron infusions which I'd prefer not to do.

The Good Master just got added to by list, but I'll probably have to read The Singing Tree because I'm kinda weird about things like that.

We started Swallows and Amazon 2 years ago and basically that has monopolized our read aloud times since then. We have read 9 books in the series so far. Good things my kids like books for birthdays and Christmas!

Finding the time to sit down and do it. I always intend to do it in the middle of the summer, but I put it off since I just want to have some time that doesn't involve anything to do with schooling. So instead I wait until I have to do it and then I never start school on time.

Good thing a joke came through my Facebook feed. Here goes:

Three sisters, ages 92, 94 and 96, live in a house together.

One night the 96-year-old draws a bath. She puts her foot in and pauses. She yells down the stairs, 'Was I getting in or out of the bath?'

The 94-year-old yells back, 'I don't know.I'll come up and see.' She starts up the stairs and pauses. Then she yells, 'Was I going up the stairs or down?'

The 92-year-old is sitting at the kitchen table having tea listening to her sisters. She shakes her head and says,
'I sure hope I never get that forgetful."

She knocks on wood for good measure. She then yells "I'll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who's at the door."

I subscribe by Bloglovin' but I now have subscribed by email. I'm sure a double dose won't hurt me.

Rest? What is that??

I am looking at graduating my oldest, who has had learning difficulties, in a few weeks and have really been stressed out and wondering if I have him prepared enough. I definitely need to learn to teach from a state of rest so my younger three kids can make it through the rest of their school years without a stressed out mother who wants to make sure she has everything covered!
