And to be honest, most people couldn't care. 40$ is ridiculous in contrast to what you are paying as oppose to the digital copy. I'm not buying it, nor am I going to pirate it cause I have no interest in seeing the documentary but these price tags are the reason people pirate in the first place. I'm not justifying piracy, I'm just saying this is the reason when it could be put at a far lower price tag for what you are receiving in this as oppose to a digital copy.

Just something I would like them to clarify is are there really this many people pirating it or did they just assume that they would not lose money and are simply blaming piracy because of lack of sales? Cause every person I have talked to says they aren't buying it and dont want to see it. I dont know how piracy could be that big of the main problem when people aren't even watching it or buying it in the first place.

It's because of 2 things. Because pmv makers that make big long projects that are extravagant and achieve spotlight posts take months. And PMV's aren't as common as music because it takes a longer time to make and because it's tiring. And It's because of Seths bias for what deserves its own post. Seth may think spotlighting a post doesn't affect it all but it does. Which in term destroys motivation for work, the same reason seth makes for "famous content creators' and gives them their own posts to keep making stuff is the same thing that destroys others from getting any attention/motivation by neglecting them. This is just from my experience and from other pmv makers but Seth greatly undermines how much a Spotlight post can do to a video is all I'm saying.

He's right you know, and you're probably right. I'm guessing you don't make fan content cause if you did you would know how frustrating it is when it comes to getting exposure. People want recognition for what they do and when it comes to things like this, I don't blame souls anger at it. It's a person yelling into a microphone. It got it's own self post above all other things posted here of much higher quality, so yes you could say people get mad about this. And don't denounce people for thinking this way, just know people have their reasons for getting mad that this was posted. There have been far better musical pieces posted today that got thrown in a compiled post that deserved their own spotlight as oppose to a video that would have gotten exposure without this post. All I'm saying is this post wasn't warranted and was undeserved cause it would have gotten exposure through its own viewers regardless. I think it was only posted because, hell, Yaplap is already famous which seems to be the only reason anything gets featured here anyways is because they are famous, not for the content. This is just my opinion on the matter but know why people are not happy with it getting posted instead of mocking those that think so.

People are allowed to express their opinion on this. That's what comments are for. They are for feedback, not just for you and a bunch of other people who like it to circle jerk on how much you enjoyed it. People who disliked it are allowed to say that they didn't like it or if they have a problem with it, and you have no reason to tell them otherwise.

YES! Please do pmv of the day posts! Me and a few other pmv makers keep talking about if you did what you did for music if you did for Pmvs. Also, have someone from the pmv field that has knowledge of video editing of the such to help review pmv submissions. That would be awesome.
