What are you talking about? The Liberals were complicit in insuring that no documents ever saw (or will see) the light of day.

Are you sure he spoke French? Or was that an assistant pretending to be him?

I'm wondering if I should bother with the long form (I've been selected as well). What's the point of filling it in if the results are going to be imprecise anyway? I'm all for doing my part, but much of the rest of the country (let's guess 24%, just as a random number) is just going to refuse to fill it out, possibly while declaring "Next".

Sigh. You are trying to respond to conbots with facts. It'll never take, I tell you.

You forget that Solomon is a future Senator. Watch his interviews with Liberal and NDP members and compare them to interviews with Conservative members. He likes to play gotcha with the first two groups, not so much with the third.

Didn't he advocate voting for this idiocy?

I hope you are right about this. Canada could become both a financial and a social basket case if you are wrong.

What makes you think she was progressive? She was a feminist, but that was only a small piece of her character. Despite her support for equal pay for equal work, she thought that divorce should be hard to obtain, and she was a blatant racist. She thought that all non-English immigration should be halted (including Ukrainian, which was big in her day). She belonged to the PC party. Hardly sounds like a progressive, unless you believe the canard that the old PC party was progressive.

I certainly hope this gig doesn't pay so well that the same characters apply for the job in four years. They've got plenty of time for skill upgrading and such in the interim.
