You shouldn't be heel striking when running anyway. It's a non-natural running position that does more damage to your legs than you might expect. Definitely take the time to adjust your running style, even if you don't switch to Vibrams (or whichever brand you bought) for the long-term.

one idea to consider for the smaller screens might be converting the comic itself to a vertical strip. you could possibly even do it via using the image as a sprite instead of creating a second, vertical version of the strip. of course, that'll all depend on whether you think the strip works as a vertical. and then you'd have to figure out something to do for the non-4 panel strips, or the strips where panels merge. which might just end up being more trouble than it's worth. but it's an idea.
