Oh my gosh, you got the chance to read On The Fence already!? I'm kind of jealous right now haha :D Xander is one of my biggest book crushs! Anyways, yes, I definitely think that the love interest plays a big role in my perception of a book. I think it's that "certain something" that makes the book swoon-worthy. For me, books without any romance are so vacuous!

Yes, I got an arc from the Publisher as well :) I know, right? I was skimming through the reviews on goodreads and I was kind of surprised that it had an average 4.5 stars (I think?). To be honest, I think there was only little chemistry between Reenie and her love interests. It was too trashy! Btw, I really like your blog! :)

Aww, great review! I totally agree with you, I think the mind power aspect was super awesome and really refreshing in this genre! And I feel so revlieved to know that I'm not the only one thinking the book was a little bit too clichéd. I mean, the insta-love thing and love-triangle was too predictable and plain vanilla! :D

Meh. Sorry it didn't work out for you; the synopsis actually sounded really interesting! I was really looking forward to reading this book but now I think I'll put the book further down on my tbr list. :D

Great review! I was laughing really hard when I read it :) I got an arc from the publisher a few months back as well but I haven't had the chance to read it yet....there are so many different opinions about the book! Anyways, after this review I think I'll put the book further down on my tbr list :D
