My life is a long string of oops-es. I almost don't even think of them as anything other than "A Day in the Life of Amy". And of course everything is totally escaping me at the moment. Most of the funny things I can think of off the top of my head have to do with my students. We have this one that we think may have some kind of condition with lack of fine motor skills causing over-exaggerated gestures. He is so comical that he reminds us of Nixon. I love teaching. The kids keep you young :) It's never dull.

Ditto. Dana wants me to spend indirect time with him watching TV. I can't wait til I get wifi one day and can hang out on the couch typing away. I do some blog hopping on my phone when I'm hanging out in front of the TV. He doesn't get my self-imposed deadlines to get a review written. He kind of wonders why the laundry isn't any where on that list of HAVE-Tos.

Moon Called is definitely a great example of characters & plot keeping you tuned in BUT the romantic tension is mostly background for many books and is a nice bonus.

I'm going to have to join Netflix to pick up some of those cable series or things like The Walking Dead where I just missed it.

I haven't read that many Contemporary Books this year and most were published in earlier years, but I alas I'm going to share my picks from the books I've read this year...so I might get booted out because of publishing year...oh well.

Favorite is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Favorite Cover is Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
Favorite Surprise is Five Flavors of Dumb by Antony John It is about way more than a garage band, but definitely is an ode to the power of music.

I may need to pay someone to help me switcheroo & fixerupper my blog. Just trying to wrap my brain around it makes it spin off it's axis.

Happy Birthday.

Great YA & Adult list. Love that you put the bloggers that put it on your radar. I wish I could pipe in, but I haven't read any of them. Now I want them ALL!
