You had me at 'Da Vinci Code'! This sounds like a really cool premise, I'm glad it blew you away! I shall look out for this one in my local library, next time I visit - I hope they have it!
I've wanted to read 'The Weight of Feathers' for a while now, I shall have to move it up my list I guess! And as a side note, I fully approve of a '3' list now I know your reasoning, also quality over quantity is a thing!
Gosh this was such a revelation, wasn't it?! I definitely think we need more NA books with characters like these, that confront modern ideas surrounding sexism. I also had no idea there were sororities and frats in AU before reading this book - I think because I went to uni in the UK and also I've not read any new adult books by AU authors before this one. Are there any others?!
This sounds intriguing! And the fact that the love triangle gets clearly resolved in a natural way appeals to me. I am a huge fantasy lover so I shall definitely look out for this title! Great review. Thanks!
You're making Australia look so GOOD in those pictures! I really loved Summer Skin, it was my first Aussie read for a while. I love the idea of The Aussie Challenge, but I'm concentrating on reading my way through my TBR pile this year. Akarnae sounds intriguing and I never would have found out about it with you posting about the sequel in this post - so cheers!
IIt sounds like this one has enough cutesy imaginative little twists along the way - like shapeshifters! - to keep me thumbing through the pages and I really love a fairytale retelling. Snappy main heroines are my other weak spot and I'm a big romance reader, so this book sound perfect for me! Love the review.
I'm glad you found this book to be amazing - like you, I've seen some less than complementary reviews on other blogs. You're portrait of Raisa is so beautiful, I love it! I don't think the pacing of this book would be an issue for me and I love a healthy dose of romance in my books. 💖
I love "slice of life" books - it's one reason why I love Huntley Fitzpatrick so much - and books with blogs! I just read Everything, Everything and the book-reviews on Maddy's blog were one of my favourite parts! This sounds good. :-)
Taylor's older brother sounds like a lot of fun! I'm sorry this one made you cry, but I'm glad you could connect to this one emotionally - when that happens, you know you've picked a good book!
The cover is beautiful and intriguing, I love it and the synopsis sounds like the Disney movie Enchanted! I can see why you've fallen head over heels with the sound of this one!
