These are great tips, but no-one is completely un-trackable online. Many websites use browser fingerprinting technology to track you and even if you use Tor, you still leave footprints.

That said, you can still keep safe online and protect your own privacy by using things like two-factor authentication, VPNs, WhatsApp and ensuring that you only connect to encrypted public WiFi networks.

I love tech and it's an essential part of our lives now. But I think it should be used in moderation and in the correct setting.

I think it's very important for children to learn how to use computers, tablets and phones, purely because there's so much available these days on the Internet which help children to learn. In fact YouTube in particular has really helped my daughter to learn how to count, colors, days of the week etc.

That said, I agree with Dr Jiow in that it should be used as a tool, and shouldn't replace good old fashioned user interaction!
