I love love love Nashville, and like you, Juliette is my favorite character (although I think Rayna has some interesting stuff going on too). I didn't realize just how much I felt for her until that scene with Sean's mother when without thinking I was like "ohhh noooooo!" On the other hand, I'm totally bored with Teddy's character and the whole deal with Rayna's father and sister. Yawn.

I walked over to Starbucks ( https://twitter.com/bonjourcass/status/2572014110... ) and then went out to my back porch for a change of scenery ( https://twitter.com/bonjourcass/status/2572085667... )!

That's awesome that you play in a brass band! What instrument do you play? Enjoy your reading!

I was so heartbroken over what they did with Kalinda that I stopped watching mid-season 2. Not that she had to be gay or whatever, but using her as like "super-sexy lady time viewing" grossed me out and made me sad. Diane has always been my favorite, too.

I had 666 Park Avenue on my to-watch list for the fall but I haven't gotten around to it. I'll have to check it out now. I think my favorite new show so far is The Mindy Project...which is kind of weird because it's not really the type of show I usually like. Maybe I just feel more bonded to her after reading her memoir.

I've read several of the Monaghan books and (wow, just had to check this to be sure) all of Lippman's stand-a-lones, and I have to second I'd Know You Anywhere as a great one. It's my favorite and, I think, Lippman's best.
