Some of us who want Mrs. Palin to run have never viewed her as a Messiah, but understand that whoever is President has a powerful podium to speak from and can greatly influence the course of events [see The Raygun and FDR]. Mrs. Palin understands what's at stake in our struggle to restore our freedoms and liberties. I know that she and I do not agree on all of the issues before us, but she and I share the same premises. She has the ability to inspire and we're going to need that in the coming troubled times. I agree with you that we must get a Congress that is as full as possible with people who understand how grave the situation is [and who will be willing to overthrow the GOP Establishment]. We also need a head of government who can raise Holy Hell in the Executive and<.i> a head of state who can enliven, invigorate, and cheerlead us on. As to those who do see Sarah Palin as some sort of Messiah: I have been and will continue to do my part to disabuse them of that notion.
