I work at home, but it is a set time and no one gets to see me during that time except for 1 break I take. We have a 2 story house, so everyone is confined downstairs unless they are going to bed. Works for us, and is great for saving money, but it is hard for our 2 year old to understand. Since it has been going on since he was born, he gets it though. In our case, I don't see it as bad parenting because it is just like a regular work away from home job.
