I love the distinction between being shy and an introvert. As an introvert who used to be shy, it's something I've thought about a lot, too. Part of the difficulty in overcoming shyness is that it comes with practice. As an introvert, I'm not always in the mood to interact with others. Then, when I *do* want to, I don't have a tool belt or past examples to draw from of doing just that. Thanks for the article!

Hi Monika,
I'm glad you could get something from my words. There sure are lessons to learn from the health of our bodies. Thanks for sharing a bit about what helps you—maybe you'll turn it into an elephant article.
Take care,

Hi Frank,

I agree, I'd love to hear your take on it. I don't have any training in tantra, which I don't mention at all in this post, I'm trained to explore and teach the Kundalini System through the teachings of Swami Radha.

This post is about my own understanding of the Kundalini System and how I see it relating to intimacy.

Thanks for your take,

I'm surprised when I hear people say they date within a specific age range: when it's been right it's been right.

That being said, it hasn't always been "right" for the right reasons. My ex husband was older than me—I needed the security and stability I found in that. My next relationship was with a slightly younger man because I was developing those parts of myself, the parts seeking security and stability externally, and someone younger than me was a match.

Of course I didn't think of all this at the time, and connected with these people because we were meant to. If I put limits on who I'm going to be drawn to I feel like I would be missing out. (Though putting limits on who I date is a different thing altogether)

I'm with Kate, the older I get the better I get.
