Dana told me about your loss and I am so sorry to hear. My husband passed away last December and like you, his sense of humor is what I miss most. When we were in the hospital, he would tell people that we met at a strip club and that he was the one dancing!

Thanks for the link to the Animal Shelter in Huntley! We live in Cary, and our dog had to be put down last February after we had him for 14 years. We are just now thinking its time to get another one. :D

Granola is like crack in my house - I can never keep my hands out of it! I love in the far NW suburbs of Chicago - not sure I could get my hubs to go to a veggie event though! :D

I make my own granola, which is good and bad - good because it tastes amazeballs, but bad because it does taste amazeballs I keep reaching into my bag for more! :D
