Nobody wins but many stand to be hurt. Good job PZ in your attempt to destroy a community that was increasingly turning against you but while there are good people out here to defy you, you will end up marginalised or gone for good, the latter being my own preference. (I would post this to him directly but due to his employ of the tactics of religious fundamentalists & other ideologues comments are either disabled/moderated or i'm blocked).

Why would it want you? If it's so awful, leave. "The richest are expected to pay 13% of their income". The horror! Here in Europe the rich are expected to pay way more. The tax rate for average income workers is above 13%. You have it good & don't like the idea of those dang poor people having it too easy. As if? The US has gone so far to the right, that normality is seen as extreme.
While i agree that we need to get out there more, remember that the Internet didn't exist when what you talk about took place, so IMO it's best to see the Internet as a tool we can use AS WELL as the more traditional routes that have been tried & tested in the past & if anything, it offers those who maybe are not able to get out there, a voice & maybe even the chance to have some influence where before they had none.

This is the best & most rational argument i've yet read on this issue & wholeheartedly support your reasoning & intend to keep doing what i've been doing for a while now, which is the same as yourself. Call out the B.S. wherever you see it, by whoever deals it!.

I recently read somewhere (i forget where) that the most people ever on-line at one time was around 134 (13something) & i wondered if this was back when they were "Popular"? LOL.☮
Thing is, PZ has maybe talked AT more Atheists than you but don't be so sure he's talked TO more than you. ALL the videos on YT which show PZ in any other situation than making a speech, he appears aloof & unapproachable. I understand that this can only say so much about what he's like away from the spotlight but still.... There is also the interview Thunderf00t did with PZ which was a little more informal but still revealed precious little. I have my own opinion of PZ Myers but i'll keep them to myself ATM because i'm feeling charitable..☮°◡°
Oh dear, can it get any worse? I personally suffer from 2 debilitating illnesses & would not ask for a penny from anyone on the web unless i was going to DIE without it. I am tired of seeing eBegging day in day out on-line. When i see a homeless person on the street with or without addictions etc' i am happy to do whatever i can to help, i wish i could do more. Tell me again Christina, about MY privilege. ps I am NOT pitching a woe is me tale but i go AT LEAST 1 day a week without FOOD in order to stay on line, (that's my choice) i don't expect anyone's help because i'm an adult.
