Oh my god, my friend and I watched together and were both commenting on how utterly MORONIC After the Thrones makes these guys seem. My friend was like, "Watching this thing this season, I see how and why this show went totally to shit." Like... these guys are just bumbling idiots! But they think they're super clever! I knew that already but watching them talk about the show is just the worst.

Ooooh, Rebecca is one of my all-time favorites and the book is definitely so much better than the movie! The older I get, the more I like to think of Rebecca as the actual hero though.

This is not literature, exactly, but one time my whole family was in the car, and the classic rock station was on. We listened companionably to an America song together for a few moments. One of my brothers was quiet in the back seat and seemed to be wrestling with some deep thought.

Finally, he says, "This song is ridiculous, it doesn't make any sense. How could he go through the desert on a horse with no legs???"

Kevin. Kevin, we said. It's a horse with no name.
