Michael Hyatt Blog : The Executive and the Elephant by Richard L. Daft

I really enjoy Dr. Daft. It was his text that I learned from in my MBA program. I am now an adjunct professor of management in the MBA program of Bethel College in Mishiwaka, IN and I will be teaching from the 9th edition of his text on management beginning this month. One of the best texts on management I have encountered. It would be a blessing to read this book & to share it with my MBA students as we walk through his text.

Michael Hyatt Blog : Who Are Your “Trusted Advisors”?

Great counsel - I used to be very much a lone ranger as well and have paid a price for that attitude (pride). I now have six men in my life & they have blessed me greatly with their wise counsel. Great post & great advice. Thanks!

Excellent counsel. Just e-mailed the link to our key leaders. In our ministry we are working with our leaders to be more "balanced" in their approach to work. So many are driven by the mission that we have to help them pace themselves. thank you for sharing with us "out here". My recent post More “Lessons of Leadership” from George Whitefield
