What a wonderful blog... I like the part about your parents influencing the book!! Romance novels are an excape for me just like they are for so many other women. It is nice to know that they are sometimes based on true events.

I have definately been wrong about a first impression.... in fact, I have been wrong about a first impression more often than I would like to admit to. The one that come to mind first is my impression of a 2 year college that I attended. Since I had no trouble getting ito the school and then made all A's and B's I convinced my self tha it was because it was an easy and not well rated school! LOL I later found out it was one of the best 2-yr colleges in the country.
I also had a friend that came to my house will I was busy taking care of a very sick child. I thought her a pest and a waste of my time. She turned out to be one of the best friends that i ever had a quite a life saver.
I think I have learned that first impressiopns aren't always the right ones to hold on to.
