reminds me of my friend who works as a bouncer at the lez bar here in denver. it's next door to Voodoo. whenever someone drives up and parks, they try to guess whether the person's going to Voodoo or to the bar. the game is called "dykes or donuts?"

last time i played, i put all politicians from this year's GOP field in as the names. it was frustrating and yet strangely satisfying when MARCO HAS BROKEN A LEG or JEB HAS DIED OF DYSENTERY. just like in the real world, they could. not. stop. hurting themselves.

You'll find the occasional individual who feels led to plain speech, just as you'll find some who feel led to plain dress (actually do think of the Quaker Oats box this time), but it's rare.

during my time as a military wife my social life got SO MUCH LESS INTERESTING anytime i opted out of these parties.

i did end up buying a lot of scrapbooking stuff tho. because tiny stickers.
