I always wondered about how this place got its name. Now I know. Thanks. You seem to be living in a beautiful but terribly cold place

tthat was funny indeed and the usual story line of every celebration year after year. But this year was different. Drop by my blog and see why.
Nonetheless, preparing for a festival is more than half the fun. I too love making endless lists, getting things organised to have a perfect celebration. And even though you are half dead by the end of it, you cannot help but feel that sense of satisfaction as you tidy up after it is all over

Our school unfortunately NEVER declared a rain holiday and part of the fun was to reach school come hell or high water only to be turned back. The next day all of us would have great stories of adventure of how we made it back through the rains..... pushing cars that got stuck, wading through waist high water.....Then coming home to a hot bath and hot tea and a good book to read the rest of the rainy day.
I completely agree with you about the IMD. Infact, whenever they declare a wet day, I plan a picninc in the garden for the little ones - at least that will keep boredom away when they are home from school.
And what a brilliant idea Mr. WB had to get his son's homework done! Thank God for such diligent parents

I always admire you ladies who find time to do everything in your lives and that too with a smile. How lovely to actually run a dance school and also do a job and run a household! Hats off to you ma'am. I have seen some of your posts on your holiday and must say the photos are amazing. Hope September is equally fulfilling for you

Stalking is every commuter’s nightmare and acid attacks are simply too horrible to understand. What thrills do such people get by damaging and destroying a poor person’s life. Thank God for the protection that automatic door provided.

Glad to see you back in action . Will probably make it to the List now that you’ve woken from your break. Missed your witty take on life and enjoyed reading this post.

I seem to be having a black thumb especially as far as my Holy Basil goes. It always dies. A firend of mine told me that the Tulsi takes up all the negative vibes that come your way so perhaps I should be happy that my plant is dead rather than me! But seriously I also get frustrated when all my TLC comes to naught. Hope your garden picks up because gardening however small your garden may be is truly a joyous hobby.

Wow! That was quite impressive . Both the tree and the Alexa rank. Question is how do you sustain this rank ? I gave up after week one and find that it made no difference to my rank .

I love seeing waterfalls from a distance and wouldn't dare go near one! So thanks for sharing this post as I've never even visited Colorado. It sounds fascinating though.
