It was interesting to hear your thoughts on this book. I totally agree with your comparison to Buffy with Angel Vs. Buffy with Spike in terms of how the romance felt.

That was a really interesting list. I think The Hunger Games and The Lord of the Rings are brilliant book to film adaptations. I enjoyed The Hobbit film, but haven't read the book yet although I know it differs a bit.

I'm not really going to comment on the relationship between the books and True Blood because like acm05 I have the exact opposite view - so much so I refuse to watch True Blood.
It was really interesting to read your review because it's been a while since I read book three. I too think Sookie is a better character without Bill - I'm not his biggest fan.
Glad to hear you're going to continue the series. I think you will prefer some of the later books.

Erm... I feel guilty for admitting this but yeah I've had a couple. I have tried to enjoy them though, at least on some level, because it's the thought that counts.
