My nephew is in the fifth year of architecture and I shared this post with him. I am sure it would inspire him. I am looking forward to more in this series.
ha ha ha..the only thing I want to write it "aa gale lag ja behna"..this is the story of ghar ghar ki kahani..I am still laughing at how humorously you wrote this post. In my house the cleaning part starts a month before diwali..we Bongs clean our house before Durga Puja...but the by the time Diwali approaches the house gets dirty so I again have to start all over again...the maid giving instruction is same with me..I do most of the cleaning while she stands and looks..I loved the bit where you wrote family never notices if the house gets cleaned or we do something in the parlour..yahan bhi same...loved reading this one Kala.
I appreciate this thoughtful post. Most of us forget that festivals are meant to encourage 'the joy of giving' but we are always busy with 'joy of getting'. We should encourage our kids to five more. Really enjoyed this post.
such a beautiful view you have Ramya. Amazing.
OMG!! it was scary. But your post also brought back my memories of Kurla station. I used to take a train from Vashi and get down at Kurla and then take a bus for my office. Every day there used to be so much rush. Getting down from the train and reaching the FOB always created a stampede like situation. When I got pregnant, I had to quit my job only because of Kurla station.
In school, we had to once knit a teddy bear. I had it with me for a very long time. My younger cousin used to play with it. Your post reminded me of that.
Wow!! these are really things to be grateful for..Even I love my no-cooking days..
The story looks gripping..will keep it in my TBR. thanks for the review.
This made me so nostalgic..I went back to those Sunday mornings when we used to sit in front of the black and white television glued to Mahabharata. Streets used to become deserted. Miss those days.
The twist in the end was great..however wish this was not a nightmare...this story could have been a great crime thriller of how the prof clears his name..maybe you should write a second part.
