It's admirable to defend your work, but you actually haven't. The review itself (practically irrelevant by now) was luke warm at worst and has now been totally overshadowed by your petulant name dropping. Regardless of your wide and varied and extremely impressive influences (well done you); you may still, in point of fact, be rubbish. It's no defence of your own work to trot out your record and book collection - or to cast aspersions on those of your reviewer. You've put the music into the world and invited attention. If you're not prepared to hear anything but praise for it; I suggest you take down your website and just ask your parents for feedback (this never worked with my parents by the way).

Hey Marta - so far Brains have had literally nothing to do with this website, not sure about the Twitter account or Facebook page. I've still got it up and online as a home for the above statement and a bit of a condolence book. As for the branding - I've got noone has been in touch with me about it and from my 1 visit to the venue, there seems to be no reference to it at all. For which I'm grateful. I worked very hard in trying to create a look in keeping with the spirit of the venue and the ideas that drove it. With that venue gone now in all but name I would rather put the logo in mothballs too than see it dragged behind a very conservative bar.

Does being "of its time" preclude a record from being timeless? The fact that production values come in, out and back in to fashion aside, I'd say; if it's good - it can be called timeless. Look at almost anything David Bowie has ever produced for instance. Always on trend, not always amazing, but some timeless classics.

Thanks David - Dan and I are both extremely proud of the exhibition. We're not sure what the future holds. We will continue with some of the interactive projects online and hopefully bring more real life BigLittleCity in the future.

Hi Jenny - we will be posting the animations so far to this page very soon. We're still looking for more animators to come on board and the project may outlive the exhibition, but there's still lots to see. The wall itself has recently been restored too.

Hi Dilys - the space is great, lots of light and very flexible. Dan Green (the BigLittleCity project leader) had his first solo photographic exhibition there back in 2008 and I know that the space has been used by a lot of voluntary organisations for exhibitions etc. There's a lot of info on some of the artists involved in the news section of this site and, even better than that, we open this Thursday. We'd love to have you along.

Hi - the We Are Cardiff project is ongoing. You can submit a story at the exhibition where a writing desk, pens and paper will be provided or via the website http://wearecardiff.co.uk I found this from the site too: There’s no word limit to your Cardiff story – it can be as short as one paragraph, as long a thousand words, it can be a narrative, it can be in the third person, it can even be a poem. We’ll provide you with a list of questions that you’re free to base your answer on, but they’re more for guidance than a strict rule. Hope this helps - I look forward to reading your story.
