Your call in topics sound fascinating, I'm going to try to remember to listen in while prepping for Thanksgiving. And I'm with you, I LOVE Cliquot. And since my name is Karen too, I'm wondering why I didn't get invited to that little party!

As cold and uncomfortable as a snowy day is, the picture of your street is beautiful.

I really want to try these but yeast and I do not get along. I need you to make them for me. Think they'll survive the trip?

Although my son presented completely differently from yours, he was diagnosed with that too (at the time they called it Sensory Integration Dysfunction). The school system refused to acknowledge any of the issues so I was forced to deal with it myself and via private services (I even ended up flying him to Boston for a full neuropsych workup). I then spent years coming up with strategies to help him and he is now a happy, healthy successful college student. If I had listened to the school system claiming nothing was wrong (meaning they didn't want his issues in their budget) he wouldn't be where he is today. Yes, moms, listen to your gut. And don't take "no" for an answer if you really think something's wrong.

I definitely do turn to Ginger Ale when I have an upset stomach. Love the ginger flavor but I'd never thought of pairing it with coconut. These biscuits sound delicious.

Your interpretation of the Kit Kat Brownie Bars sound delicious. I especially love the use of coffee. I'm happy to have provided the inspiration.

I adore blueberries, what a great way to use them in a favorite breakfast food. And I have Apple Pie Spice, never would have thought of adding it to a blueberry dish, and yet now that you have, it makes so much sense.

What a fascinating idea. There's that old saying that "necessity is the mother of invention" and budget is a good necessity. My kids don't like the idea of fruit in meals, but Hubs and I would like this, especially since it's so different from anything I've made. So creative.

You are a kid's best friend. And this adult too.
I'm so glad to have been involved in this project with so many talented bloggers.
