We're moving this week, so I haven't checked in for a few days. What a pleasure to see you back, Kevin!

Personally, I think there are plenty of ethnics, Jews & gay people who will never allow themselves to vote Republican, no matter how bad the Dems are. The best we can hope is that they decide to stay home on election day. Anyone who didn't vote last time in an effort to punish John McCain is encouraged to show up this time and pull the "R" lever, even if it's for an uninspiring candidate. Please, don't curse us with another four years of this underminer.

Reminds me of the year when they kept the pretty French cooking woman around episode after episode because they wanted her to succeed even though she kept making major mistakes.

Last night showed me that the judges are intentionally blind to Penny's unappeal as a potential host, rooting for cuddly Justin D., and convinced that there is a hidden 'something' under Whitney's plain vanilla exterior. Justin B. had more potential than any of these three, and I'm sorry that he got cut.

Of all the contenders, I am most likely to tune in to The Jeff Show.

Penny may make food that the judges (usually) like, and represent an ethnic group that they don't currently have but she is so unpleasant. The only way people would turn on "Bitchin' in the Kitchen" is if there were rumored to be a boobytrapped oven.

Am I right in thinking that Allen West voted NOT to defund the Libya "kinetic rhumba"? I want to hear his comments on this.

In unrelated news, good for you, NY!

Unless Barky can spin this into some sort of re-election boost, don't expect any comment from that quarter.

I, for one, am anti-impressed.

Be honest - Bobby Flay is not exactly a warm 'n' fuzzy kind of guy. If Penny can woo him with some well executed barbecue, she's his gal.

All of the women (other than Penny) seem comfortable and likeable but none have the sort of big personality like FN stars Rachel Ray or Guy Fieri. Amped up, I think Jyll or Susie has the best shot of the ladies at the personality sell.

Of the guys, I see potential in Jeff, Justin B., and Vic but any of them would need to be consistent with both food and camera performances. Justin D. is pleasant but too subdued, and I agree with the comments here that "Mr. Team Leader" has got to be the next to go.

One mistake and he stepped up and admitted it. Is Allen West perfect? No. But he's darn close.
