What a sweet Dad, that is an awesome birthday present! Having children that equal or surpass you in height is tough. I can totally understand that! My eldest just turned 17, aaaakk! Happy belated birthday Zai!
Renata, my boys were looking over my shoulder with me while looking at your blog, and Ethan said "Mama, look Eli must have left his shoes in the house!" I laughed and laughed, because only my boy (who somehow, forgets his shoes when he goes outside, all.the.time.) noticed that it looked like he was running and jumping in sock feet. I told him that you probably had not let him go out into the fields in his sock, and that it just looked like that, but he insists...so could you please resolve this for us? We want to know which one is right, Ethan or me? :-)
On another note, Yay! for new dams! I hope this one does work out well for you and all of your stock!
Those are adorable! I have a couple of white pillow cases that would be so cute like that! I am hoping to join in next week... lots of ideas, just so busy spring cleaning that I haven'y had much time to do anything pinterest-y . Soon though!
Oh this post makes me long for summer! Right now we are sitting under the heaviest snowfall it the past 18 years! My peach and plum trees are sitting out there with their buds swelling just getting ready to bloom in a month or two! I can't wait! Everything you made looks delicious!
What a great story! Thank you for sharing it with us. Happy Birthday Nicholas! Isn't awesome how babies are always the most wonderful blessings, even if we are not "ready" for them. God is so wonderful like that isn't he?!
Oh they are cute! Are you planning on raising those to eat, or to breed and then eat the offspring? I've only every had milking goats.
Yay! What awesome happy news! Congratulations you have been so richly blessed!
Dear Renata, I was just catching up with everything you've been up to at Sunnyside for the past few weeks. I'm amazed at everything you managed to accomplish in the past year! I too had hoped to start soap making last year, but it simply didn't happen. I was also very excited for you guys when I read that you are hoping to begin foster care. You are right it can be very difficult, even a nightmare sometimes, but it is so very worth what trouble it may cause. Especially for the children you are able to help! I'll be praying for your family throughout the year!
Happy New Year to you!
~Rachel
Loved the Coke ad, cute! I'd never seen it before.
Oh and Happy Birthday Rosie!
Yay for warm cozy houses, with a tree or two in sight! It's amazing you have time for anything crafty right now with all you have going on! Merry Christmas to your sweet family! Hugs~ Rachel
