Oooh, oooh, this past semester at the MD Sheep & Wool Festival I bought my very first drop spindle and a bunch of roving! And I made yarn! Single ply yarn, but YARN. xD It was so cool! And now my mom's bought me some more roving (she's an avid knitter, which I can also do and was naturally good at when she taught me, but I don't find it nearly as engaging as needle point or spinning). OMG I AM SANDRY. How did I not realize this sooner?

Anyway! I love the way Tammy handles each of the kids finding their own mentors and taking those first steps to forging something that will be both rewarding and comforting for each of them to have. <3
