I love Mawaru Penguindrum!! I completely understand everything that you mention in this post - it really caught me from the first episode onwards. It's so good it's almost ridiculous. It's really awesome how they made something that actually sounds like a pretty childish storyline (find the Penguin Drum!) a lot more mature, when I think of it properly. Well, and a lot more ridiculous but I still love it anyway =3

In truth I get pretty turned off by those taboo relationship, and the fact that my sibling structure is exactleh the same (two big bros lol) makes it even worse but at this point I'm like who cares gimme that incest just get on with ma storyyy!! XD

But like my anti-incest side is arguing for a not-incest reason. Like how they prolly aren't related (his hair is friggin red lol), or how he's in love with the penguin woman in her or something - since they only show the lurve after she rips out his heart - maybe she quite literally stole his heart... But I'm actually pretty glad she just ripped it out. With her going all 'SURVIVAL STRATEGY FTW' and stripping I thought she was gonna rape him on the spot o_O

I'm so so glad you love it too!! I was starting to wonder if I'm being a bit irrational with this anime and it's nice to see that I'm not all alone =D

Exactlehhhh! Kimimaro was just the weapon, and you can argue that the one who wielded it was Mr. Info Broker. He didn't do much thinking for the plan against Mikuni, he just made the decision to go against him (lol I dunno why but this image of Kimimaro being a female shoujo lead and changing guys every 5 chapters came to mind =P) Jennifer pretty much triggered the event but... nawh. Info broker FTW! =D

I did like Kimimaro and Masyu, but not romantically together. It felt really weird since she was like a newborn kid throughout the anime, so it kinda felt like... paedophilia... a little =P and now there's the suggestion that she's his great/grand/kid or something... oh dear... o_O

I'll be watching out for blood C as well i suppose out of curiosity since it's CLAMP and all - I watched blood + but I honestly can't remember half the stuff that occurred anymore lol =P the concept wasn't too bad either so I'll stick around for that
