I don't support and never defend an abuser, that's what a bully is. I would give this woman an award and I feel so sorry that she will suffer because of this.

If you see someone being assaulted on the street and saves that person by attacking the criminal that's not wrong, attacking an abuser because there is no possible way to save your son from the abuse is not wrong, an innocent child was suffering, she helped him, many don't get help, many are traumatized, many don't survive, all bullying survivors suffer the consequences for the rest of their lives.

You don't understand the problem with bullying do you? It's abuse, abuse victims can't defend themselves, many times bullying is abuse done by a group, the abuser is normaly supported and popular, the victim is punished. You actually saying that an abuse victim needs to fight for themselves? Self-defense? Really? You think that would help in anything? Living in fear and waiting for being attacked, knowing no one will defend you and that no adult will help you, excluded in school while the abuser has no problems, having your sense of self attacked everyday in a place you need to go and need to stay with no escape, do you have any idea of how that's like, there are many people that are traumatized and many kill themselves. Bullying kills, you can't even mention that the victims need to fight for themselves, it's enough of our society telling victims what impossible acts they need to do to be safe.

Autistas? Você quis dizer Rain Man, psicopata ou nerd? Lesbicas?

Not the topic of this post but I read an older post called "Dear Demi Sexual, Trans Ethnic,Trans Abled, Trans Fat and Other Fakers" and I was surprised to find misinformation on this blog, I love reading every post here, I wanted to suggest this post for clarification about the subject that was talked about since it's more accurate: http://amorpha.dreamwidth.org/37490.html

If the author of that old post could read this it would be good since it lacked accurate information about some groups talked about and this is never good.

I read this again and just wanted to ask something that confused me, are you also saying that genderqueer are not real or are appropriating identities to look special?
I am genderqueer and I saw accusations like this so I needed to ask because I didn't understood that part.
Sorry but I can't edit the other comment.

I didn't know that, I thought third gender was called like this bcause there is the binary with one and second gender and people outside of it are third gendered, I used this term once for myself but I will not use it anymore, thank you. I wonder what could be a good term to use that doesn't have a story racism, English is not my language so maybe that's why I didn't knew that.

The idea that otherkin are oppressed is ridiculous and offensive, saying you are an otherkin is not, people can say they are something like that and there is nothing wrong with it, I know many otherkin that are disabled, trans*, POC, gay, in general there are many that are not privileged so this special snowflake point of yours makes no sense.
Many non-privileged people on that community are also fighting the ridiculous idea that otherkin are oppressed and they still call themselves otherkin.

Wrong, DID is one thing, multiplicity is another, one is a mental illness the other is not and the person isn't harmed by having more personalities. The term Singlet is used wrongly on this post, it's a term used for people with only one personality, just that. <div style="display:block;margin:6px 0 0"><a class="a2a_dd" href="http://www.addtoany.com/share_save">Share/Save/Bookmark
People with DID and multiplicity are neurologically atypical and that's the oppression involved, DID is also a disability.

I really like this post.
Society wouldn't exist if everyone only learned and worked at academic professions, it's sad that this is the only thing people consider success, I am glad to read your post about it.
I am not American but the belief is the same here.
I am terrible with ADLs, nobody taught me those, I learned academics well and learned that academics don't matter if you can't take care of yourself, school traumatized me so when I read that school helped someone it makes me happy to know this exists.
A parent that is proud of their children when they don't follow the expect path and proud when they have a different aim from what is considered success is really rare and great, it should be a normal thing.

I learned it when I was a child because I love learning language and how people use them so sarcasm and figures of speech are interesting for me. I didn't learned like others do or at the same age.

Sorry if my replies are not well written, my English is confusing today.
