Michael Hyatt Blog : How to Foster Honesty in Your Team

How do you know he wasn't honest with his superior? All we know for sure is that he had an open and apparently honest relationship with his team.

Sorry about that. I didn't realize this was a guest post. I was trying to jerk Mike's chain.

Isn’t being honest with his “team” what got General McChrystal in trouble?

Michael Hyatt Blog : Why You Should Understand Your Weaknesses

I am very comfortable with what I do professionally. Being an irritable short-tempered untreated bipolar with anger management problems and a complete inability to multitask has made me an excellent pathologist. Few people can achieve, much less sustain, my level of concentration. Problems arise when I allow myself to be pressed into leadership positions, at church but more so out in the community, where my single-focus “lead, follow or get out of the way” ethic is not always appreciated. The projects I take on always succeed but frequently at a higher personal cost than I want to pay. I know my weaknesses. How do I communicate them to others? (A little sarcasm here but I couldn’t resist.)

Michael Hyatt Blog : Top Posts for July 2010

How interesting. The top post so far on my fledgling one month old blog is WestBow Press. It’s actually about one of the two books you discuss in your post of similar title. http://anthonyharden.wordpress.com/2010/07/14/wes...

Michael Hyatt Blog : Don’t Wrestle with Pigs

I love the quote. Do you worry that by refusing to engage, you may miss a ministry opportunity. I have trouble distinguishing pigs that are truly mean and inconsiderate from those that are just in pain and scared.

Michael Hyatt Blog : How to Protect Your Intellectual Property Online

Great timing for me. I took the first steps to setting up a WordPress blog site this weekend. Don't look Michael, I started with a series of posts on my brief and somewhat disallusioned experiences with the publishing industry. I will never copy your content but I really like the way you do things. Wish I knew how trackbacks work.
