Troth = a pledge or undertaking, as in marriage
trough = a long box set upon the ground from which farm animals eat

EJ needs an editor.

The sex workers of the world take offense at your use of the phrase "whoring herself out"
This is a somewhat rambling way of saying you're starting to get older. Beautiful young women have been making money off their bodies as long as there has been money and as long as there is trade, value for value, and men value women sexually, this will continue. I wish you a smooth journey finding comfort with that truth, none of your suggestions, which are condescending and shallow, will make any difference. May the SLUTS of the world have the last laugh, on men, on you and your judgment, on everyone and all of it. I honor their raw honesty and their ownership of their choices and their sexuality.

Actually love, you can wear shorty shorts anyway, especially if they are most comfortable when you practice your yoga. Anyone who notices, and thinks anything of it, should immediately get their eyes and their presence, back on their own mats. Your body is beautiful, even if it doesn't look like hers. All yogi bodies are.

I'm so glad this time in my life is ending. I loved being a mother, and I love being a woman, and the roller coaster is part of that, but I'll be happy when this next phase of my life begins with no monthly cycle. I already feel calmer than I did years ago. More of that please.

Too skinny for my tastes, and seriously, as it's a clothing ad, what really matters is, who would wear those UGLY pants?

You are amazing Maureen. You deserve an award. I think they should give it to you along with the MTV awards so YOU can wear a pretty dress and sit with Beyonce. This is the first time I've EVER seen any one apologize on an Internet forum. You may be sensitive, but you clearly also have a big heart. I know I write the way I speak, animatedly. People sometimes misconstrue that because being that animated would mean THEY were angry. I really do believe apologies are like liquid sunshine, the warm and nourish others. Thank you. Peace.

This response was kind and gentle with both sides of the discussion. Empathy is strong in your heart, you must have worked very hard for that. It is noticed and appreciated.

You can't write a blog post about the effects of heat on the body in a yoga community and then pretend it has "nothing to do with" Bikram or hot yoga. Seriously. I read your article and it was very clear what your opinion is of heated yoga classes.
