What I appreciated about your article was your transparency. The hardest thing about being poor is that it's ongoing. And you're right, when you say you have no money you mean no money. When others say it, it's a completely different thing. And the thing is as far as raising kids and having no extra money, people say it's okay to not give a gift, but the person who has little or no extra. Well they still have a heart that wants to give. There are people who judge. And there are people who get tired of the place you are in when you're poor. Wish they realized if they are tired of it, being out of the situation. How must YOU feel. Truth to me is what God says. It's one thing we can always count on.

I sat in a courtroom twenty years after the fact. My sister had been murdered. And though people had promised to tell the truth, some didn't. And there was a not guilty verdict. So sometimes truth does not win out.

But God's word. It is truth we can count on.
