Breitbart.tv : Krauthammer: Breitbart Pursued Truth With 'Utter Fearlessness'

I think of all the tributes to Breitbart so far this was the most concise and well said. In 40 seconds, he summed up why we are all so bummed.

It smells like a conspiracy to me. I would like an investigation of the customer who did it and find out if he fed it to the media who didn't even question it.

Big Hollywood : USA's Quirky 'Psych' Returns Tonight to Bolster Cable TV's Case Against Broadcast Fare

Totally right about the show getting way better. We are huge Psych fans but I almost never watched it because the first season is not very good. For those of you who want to check the show out, you may want to just start on the second or third season and then go back to the first afterward.

Breitbart.tv : Newt: I've 'Fallen Short Of The Glory Of God'

Admitting what? That he falls short of the glory of God? That is not exactly a big admission. Listen, I would be impressed if he said, "Ladies and gentlemen, I am a terrible sinner who deserves no praise and has done a lot of wicked crap in my personal life." That would be a good evangelical confession in my mind.

Breitbart.tv : Jon Stewart Scolds America For Liking Santorum, Attacks Catholics

Typical Alinsky crap. If the right laughs at the left we are bigoted racist haters who are probably terrorists. When the left laughs at the right it is the republicans who have no sense of humor. In reality the right has good reasons to laugh at the ridiculousness of the left but the left is mocking all that is good and right and noble when they mock Christianity and freedom. We are the only ones who are right to be angry.

I love the hypocrisy of so many of the Romney supporters. Santorum is spot on with his current rhetoric but has a few inconsistencies in his record. Romney is weak in his current rhetoric (tax cuts for the middle class, refusal to sign the pro life pledge etc) and has DRAMATiC flip flops and ridiculous inconsistencies in his record. They point out the speck in Santorum's eye while walking around with a frickin plank hanging out of their own. Listen, no candidate is going to be perfect. Not even Ron Paul (who flip flopped on DADT). But that doesn't mean that all candidates are equal. Romney is the biggest flip flopper in the race and anyone looking honestly at his record should be suspicious of anything he says.

I agree with you. With that being said, I think the point that he was making was that it is better to stand and make the case for conservatism and win those who are not committed to the GOP that way rather than be a mushy moderate and win them that way.

Breitbart.tv : Perry Slams Santorum's Fiscal Record

I remember hearing Ann Coulter once say that even if you only care about fiscal conservatism you should vote for a pro life republican because you cannot trust the pro choice ones to stand up for anything (including fiscal issues). Rick Santorum is a solid guy...not perfect but solid. He has been on the right side of issues for his whole career. Was he wrong to support Specter? Of course but the reason he did it was that Specter was on the judicial committee and Santorum was worried about losing Specter as an R who would vote for Bush's appointments. In other words, wrong approach right motive. On earmarks, you should always be skeptical of short edits like the audio they had. I am sure that Santorum said a whole lot more to say.

Big Hollywood : 'Tuesdays with Morrie' author Mitch Albom: Seeking More 'Faith and Redemption' on the Small Screen

I am from Southeast Michigan. Mitch has a radio show on in the afternoons here. It is really tough to listen to for a number of reasons. First off, he is a hardcore liberal who pretends to be moderate. Name the political issue and he will fall squarely on the left and his sidekick Kevin is even more radical than he is. Second, he is the biggest complainer. I have heard people call him "Mitch the b***" because his whole show is like an unfunny complaint-fest. Third, his self opinion is waaaay higher than than it ought to be - he thinks he is an international celebrity when most people have no idea who he is. Last thing, for those who don't remember, Mitch has had a history of making up stories as though they were true. He once wrote a story as though he was at a game but later it was exposed that he wasn't. He was suspended and almost fired from the Free Press. As a result some in town wondered if his best seller, Tuesdays with Morrie, should be renamed "Two Days With Morrie".

Big Peace : Chinese World Domination: Allowing Capitalism and Religious Worship

China is naive to think that the Christian religion will not be a threat and the author of this article is too. Christianity provides a set of principles that are public principles that need to be followed. There is a reason that tyrannical rulers try to wipe out or change the church as they rise to power. Look at the Confessing Church in Germany and the work they did to oppose Hitler. Look at the Catholic Church in Poland and the work that they did to bring down Communism. Look at the American Colonies. If Christianity increases from 10% to 30% in China, the government will be forced to start listening. They will be told to stop forcing abortions. They will be told to stop oppressing people and withholding freedom. When Christ is King, all other authorities are called to submit to his rule.

Breitbart.tv : ABC News Interviews 'Future President' Who Wants To Tax 'Greedy' Rich

This is actually normal logic for little kids. When my son was little he said he wanted to have a store where everything was free so that poor people could get nice stuff. Kids have a simple and naive view of the world and do not understand the hard truths of economics and human nature. Fortunately, most people grow up and realize that you can't take from the rich and give to the poor otherwise you end up doing more damage to the poor than if you did nothing. You can't have free stores. You can't do all of this because it doesn't work and ends up being more harmful than helpful. Sadly, socialists have never grown up. They have a naive and wrong view of economics and human nature. And sadly we have a president that is the most naive president we have ever had.
