the author is not trustworthy. she always tries to put a negative picture of Pakistan. perhaps I could never understand what system actually they want in country and what kind of democracy these people are developing.

very informative article really like reading it.
it shows that at every stage of life, Islam fully protects the basic rights of women with out putting any burden on males. as it is clear that mehr is an affordable as well as reasonable amount obligatory for groom to pay her bride as a gesture of good will, confidence and as a gift which creates the sense of sharing among them from the day one!

Great article. we strongly need to show the real picture of our Deen Islam. Islam is all about peace, love, morality, prosperity, harmony, dignity and respect for others. It teaches us that how one can live both spiritually and socially a balanced and successful life.

What ever the budget will, no matter how badly it will effect the Nation but at least the government is going to present its fifth budget and al most near to complete its tenure. We should be glad on this unlike pessimistic people who only sees one side of picture that common men are dying of hunger, suffering with deadly load shedding of both electricity and gas, facing abusive and degrading language and messages from outer world upon our National policies and dilemmas. Just avoid their voices and be ready to celebrate the budget party. be happy democracy is evolving in the country so if people die with inflation or poverty no guilt its their own fault. His highness Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani had humbly asked them to leave the country if anyone is having any problem. SO if you want to live in, than make up your mind that all you need to live is to evolve democracy and completion of five years tenure of democratic government. But if you want food, electricity, shelter and a secure future then you may leave no one stops you.

if negotiations are done with Taliban by america then it is fine no worries. america is working for peace and harmony in the region. but if Pakistan does the same thing than Pakistan is supporting terrorism and proving safe havens to Taliban. what a dual faced nation America.

a very well written and well expressed article which gives the true picture that why our education system is not that much active and result oriented as it should be. the complex of english language has ruined a lot talent in Pakistan, as many youngsters who could perform far far better -in both studies and practical life- while using Urdu as a medium of instruction loose their confidence and talent in an environment where they are forced to speak or write in english. a latest example is 8th grade's student Abdul Mobeen who killed himself just because his teacher abuses him for speaking in Urdu in class. is foreign language more important than the dignity and self respect of a young boy? who is responsible for the loss of such a precious life?

nowadays we are prisoned in political turmoil. every news channel and news paper is not filled with political news but with humiliation of politics. these non sense politicians even brought their dirty politics in even entertaining and news on which we could be happy. if any sports man wins any title at international level political parties starts claiming that s/he belongs to them. if any unfortunate incident happens then they alleged each other that they are responsible. until or unless our politicians and media men specifically gets mature we cannot get rid of political discussions. As media have made politics an entertainment, drama, tragedy and thrill in itself.
