As it is unfathomable why the public would continue to believe such lies, we have to propose, "are we asking the right questions?". Are we looking deeply enough?
The reliable law of supply and demand may provide the answer.
The lies are supplied because the public demands they be told.
Consciously people insist they are against war with all its depravity, but what if underneath it all they are addicted to the fruits of what war, or the threat of it, can bring?
Cheap gas, cheap consumer baubles, slave labour, a tsunami of drugs, legal and illegal, unlimited women-hating porn. The list is endless, and loveless.
In short... the ability to say 'we're the greatest' and 'we'll do what we goddamned like.'
No amount of logic or rationality can touch the sides of this immeasurable greed and arrogance, and there's no profit in beating one's own brains out trying to work out why folk can't see what's right before their eyes.
They can see it... and they don't care 'cos they want it that way.
Until people can take stock and see what they have become through abandoning their true nature, and common decency, there will be no change – despite the best efforts of the worthy journalists who appear in these pages.
The truth is far worse than what we think, and the corruption far deeper than most can envisage.
Prepare for things to get worse before the dawn begins to break.
