I'm sorry about your mother. That is hard. This was my first year doing the challenge and I loved it. Your theme sounds fun.

I don't know you, but it sounds like you had a move and a new baby recently. Those are two very stressful events. Be gentle on yourself as you get your rhythm back naturally. You will get there.

I personally know just how you feel. I am not sure what gets me off track - I've often thought of this, trying to define what exactly it is. But that is wasted energy. The key is to just do one little thing at a time. Maybe it's waking up at a certain time, or reading them a story before bed every night. We all love routines because they make our lives predictable. It makes us feel safe.

Great tips, Hema. I am reading The Untethered Soul right now and he talks a lot about the monkey mind. I am also working on eating more consciously so this has helped me to become more aware during the day.

Wow! This is so great, Carole! I love how you are just jumping into using Pinterest and finding a way to use it that I had never even considered. That is pretty cool.

Wow. That is cool. Great video, but I am in agreement about the underwear. I thought of that as I was watching it. I was like, "Who filmed this if her man is sleeping in bed?" Funny. But very inspiring. I am new to yoga so this is just a pipe dream at the moment, but you never know!

I can see that this post is really old, but "Anatomy of a Hug"? Come on... who can resist reading THAT? lol... Very cute. I just had one of those hugs with my hubby. Love those. Just want to hang there all day but then that gets a bit weird and awkward. (Can't eat inside a hug...) Oh well, I guess that they are just meant to be temporary and very well loved. Good luck in finding some good ones. I wish you all the best and would hug you if you were here in this room.

I haven't really read up on the Cuban Missile Crisis. This is an interesting introduction. I would have to agree with you that you can get some good from television as long as you don't overdo it. You might already know that Martin Sheen did a beautiful movie with his son, Emilio Estevez, called The Way. They had me choked up in the first ten minutes. It was about a man whose son had died while walking the Santiago Pilgramage. They had been estranged somewhat and he ended up doing the walk on behalf of his son. It was so good. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

Hi there, Divya. Nice post. These remind me of the five basics principles of Reiki. Good reminder! I think these are some good rules to live by.
