We don't generally celebrate V-day, but I did bake us a gluten-free chocolate cake with mascarpone cream on top! I have also been working out this winter but I go to the fitness club in town (20 miles away!). It gets me out of the house and around other people so I don't get too stir crazy!

Ireland has always been on my bucket list of places to visit before I'm too old. Also Wales, my father's family is Welsh and I would so love to see it! There are also so many glorious places in the US that I've never been that are also on the list. where is the photo taken at the top of your post? It looks amazing!

This movie looks so creepy! I think the scariest one we'll watch this year is Bad Santa! My favorite is Love Actually....what can I say I'm the sappy sort! We also have to watch White Christmas every year and the best one for us is March of the Wooden Soldiers! A Laurel & Hardy movie which is also very sappy but fun!. We are watching 1 or 2 Christmas themed movies every week this year and have already seen Scrooged which is good....not great. Then Family Man and The Holiday.

We've had below freezing temps and dustings of snow here too! Work at one place is winding down and we'll close for the winter soon, but at two other places it's winding up for the Christmas season! Still getting lots of knitting done and I'm going to cast on two new projects today!!
Sorry to hear about your furnace! I had a similar experience with a furnace but on the coldest night of the winter!! Not fun I can tell you, but boyfriend was there to keep me warm! :>}
