Sticky Fingers : Win a pair of Hunter Wellies. And have posh dog walks like me

My Hunter wellies will take me and my son walking through the Wiltshire's fields and woods, knee deep from our ankles up in Britian's finest, mud, glorious mud! Past hedges with partridges peeking and scattering, pheasants running, field mices jumping and bounding, grouse fleeing and us stomping. Winter walks in Hunter wellies come rain or shine is what every country dweller needs to help keep our circulation circulating throughout this cool, crisp, wet or shining Wiltshire winter.

London City Mum : undefined

Apparently I am a fat version of Mylene Klass! Although I can't play the piano or sing! This was really funny and so well researched! I am amazed that you have the time to be so irritated! I do agree that Ricky Gervais is a complete wanker but I think that is why I like because he is so unapologetic about it! If you said to him, 'do you think you are a complete and utter wanker?' I think he would say, 'Absolutely, I have dedicated my life to it.'

London City Mum : How a week's worth of Xmas parties ended with some confusion. Not mine.

You are just using your drinking gay-ness as a cover story. It's because alcohol will affect your sporting performance. You can't fool me missus. Fortunately, you are a mentalist sober so why take onboard the necessary calories. I went for a granny jog, with a splash of Pheobe from friends in the snow yesterday - I am such a long way from you and the Brazilian!! You do look a bit like the blonde in Kat & Kim though now I think about it - she looks like a Marilyn too!

OMG!! I must buy this amazing books. Those two ladies are so funny that the book must be a blinking hootalicious!! *you know where to send the cheque* ahem......no really it was very funny. I often have conversations with my friends that go along the lines of 'if I was paying me to look after my kids I would fire me.' - I think those two missies are in that category too!

http://geekymummy.blogspot.com/ : About me

Hi - just found your blog. I wish I was more geeky!! But I love it's essence. I love Tales in the City - I would love to visit SF - one day! But yes - I know the complexity of womenhood - I think we need to take more responsibility for what those men folk are doing and be more involved in the decision making. Freedom and equality isn't just about how we deliver our own fairytales but using our voice as a collective to make informed choices about how our world is governed. We have a long way to go but, our generation of women, we are the starting point. Lovely blog.

http://www.singlemummy.net/ : Could you send your children to boarding school?

Breaking news! My son has just told me that he likes boarding more then he likes actual school and in fact he actually likes boarding. I am gobsmacked - plus he's just got his first ever A on his weekly report card. The boarding house is a ready made swiss chalet with four to a room. They have tea at 6pm which he just loves, then have activities with all the boarders (there's around 40 in total) - he at 7 is getting to hang with the older years and he thinks that is awesome because he is the only yr 3 that boards and all the other year 3s see him saying 'hi' to year 7 and 8 because they know him from the boarding house. In 2 weeks I have seen his confidence improve but like I say this is an individual case but so far a massive thumbs up! My recent post Not A Frickin’ Ant Sphere!!

The first 48 hours were crucial and I felt sick because I didn't know if he was going to enjoy or endure it. I was so relieved when he came back home and he thought it was comme ci comme ca. I feel empty without him but I know that he really needs it. Plus he on half term in 4 weeks for 2 weeks. He has 5 weeks at Christmas and 4 weeks at Easter and 8 weeks in the summer holidays so it's not like we don't get to hang out together. To be honest i think the kids are fairly resilient if you love them and make them feel secure I think it's us who ache and yearn for them more (what I meant to say was that he wasn't special needs enough for the state) My recent post Not A Frickin’ Ant Sphere!!
